Description

ABS 3D Printer Filament (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene), is a massively popular filament currently used today, and was originally one of the first materials that could be 3D Printed. It, along with PLA, dominate the charts on the most popular material used. Even outside the realm of 3D Printing, ABS is the plastic to use, it is used to make LEGO, keyboards, power tools, there is a good chance you come in to contact with ABS on a daily basis.
WHAT MAKES abs DIFFERENT?
[divider width=”100%” height=”1px” margin=”0.5em” color=”rgb(0, 0, 0)”] [row] [col span=”6″ span__sm=”12″] ABS is a thermoplastic, a temperature change doesn’t effect its chemical properties, this property lends itself well to the 3D Printing process. ABS 3D Printer filament is a very forgiving material, it is strong and tough. With a higher impact strength 35kJ/m2 compared to PLA 3.4kJ/m2, it should be used for parts where reliability is paramount. Finally ABS 3D Printer filament has a high melting temperature compared to other materials available, making it well suited for applications where heat resistance could be an important factor. Not only is Ooznest Materials ABS Filament good for strength and durability. It is also just as much a good looking material. The chemical composition of ABS means the surface of a 3D printed object can be treated with acetone to make a glossy, smooth, layer-less finish. A misconception about ABS 3D Printer filament is that it is difficult to print, but with the correct settings Ooznest Materials ABS Filament will give you no problems at all. Print at 245-255°C, with the heated bed at 100°C and you shouldn’t have any problems at all. Just in case you do, add some ABS Juice to your print surface, and your prints will stick, guaranteed. Reviews for Clearance – ABS 3D Printer Filament – 1.75mm

  1. Gab

    Fast and efficient service

  2. Paul Lawson

Won this spool in a giveaway
print quality is excellent, good layer adhesion and such
the biggest issue i have with this is the spool itself ….
cardboard my be great for recycling. but every 50m into the spool the filament is trapped between the cardboard side and the wound filament. there is no give as the filament is pulled through the extruder it pulls tighter into the side until it stops extruding
so far have had 8 failed prints
this would be good if you were only printing small models.
printing larger models, over 50m usage, will fail constantly

will not be buying cardboard spools in the future
will stick to master spool system
