The Duet 3 Expansion Board 3HC is a fully featured CAN-FD Connected Expansion board for the Duet 3 Mainboard. The Duet 3 Expansion Board 3HC has it’s own dedicated 32 Bit Processcor, 3 Trinamic Stepper Drivers, 9 PWM Outputs and much more. Included with the Duet Expansion Board 3HC is a connector pack with a full set of housing and crimps.
The main features of the Duet 3 Expansion Board 3HC are:
- 32 Bit ARM Cortex M4F 120MHz Processor
- 3 High Capacity Trinamic 5160 Stepper Motor Drivers. 4.45A RMS Current running at 6.3A peak. Full firmware control including 256 Microstepping, StallGuard 2, and StealthChop 2.
- 9 PWM Outputs
- 3 Thermistor / PT1000 inputs. Support for PT100 and Thermocouples through daughterboards
- 6 Input/Outputs for endstops, probes etc
CAN-FD Cable is not included. A “ADSL 2+ High Speed Broadband Modem Cable RJ11″ is recommended.

Having every thing iv seen on duet has been positive. the documentation. and you tube duet software tutorials.
the boards duet main and expansion very pleased with im in process of sorting out wireing and such so feel unable to say on using the boards bit early for that.
had 5 printers develope faults and 5 returns since may,
so now its e3d and duet ect. think in this hobby you get what you pay for applies more than most.
