WHAT MAKES LUMBER DIFFERENT?

They each have real wood particles mixed into them with a PLA base material, the percentage of wood particles is roughly 40% for each material. This makes for a 3D Printer filament which looks like wood and is sure to impress. Ooznest Materials Lumber 3D Printer filament is great for applications which require a unique look. The addition of wood particles into the Ooznest Materials 3D Printer filament will also give off a nice wood smell when printing. Our Lumber 3D Printer filament will not wear your nozzle as the wood particles are soft. However we advice using a nozzle with a 0.5mm diameter orifice or greater.     Has a project that was a cup that looked like it was carved from wood so wanted to see what it would look like with the wood filament. as this was only a sample i couldn’t print it out in full size. after resizing the model and setting the temp etc i set about printing. once it was finished i was surprised with the results. due to the size the detail wasn’t the best but i think at full size and also fiddling with the settings it would come out brilliantly. it also has the smell of wood once printed. i would consider buying a full reel of this filament in the future.

    Prints well, but with lots of stringing, possibly tweakable, but required so much cleaning up after printing. has a lovely wood smell whilst printing and then your print smells like toasted wood afterwards
