Description

PolyP 3D Printer filament (Polypropylene) is a new material to the filament market. Ooznest Materials PolyP filament has been designed for uses where optical clarity, chemical resistance, or flexibility is required. Polypropylene is a well used plastic around the globe, it is commonly used in packaging and storage applications.
WHAT MAKES POLYP DIFFERENT?
[divider width=”100%” height=”1px” margin=”0.5em” color=”rgb(0, 0, 0)”] [row] [col span=”6″ span__sm=”12″] Ooznest Materials Polypropylene is perfect to use in live applications, like hinges and straps. It has good inter layer adhesion and a massive 600% elongation at break (PLA is 20%). PolyP has great fatigue resistance, it can be used on applications where the part is regularly bent. Making the part from PolyP will insure that it lasts a lifetime. The base material of PolyP is also food safe, in addition it is water and chemical resistance. These two combined makes it an ideal candidate to use for containers. The high optical performance means PolyP will transfer light through the object – again ideal for containers. PolyP is a semi-crystalline material, therefore a printed part can warp heavily when it cools. It is recommended to print on top of a Polypropylene sheet or tape. A higher temperature first layer can also reduce the amount the part warps. Reviews for Clearance – PolyP 3D Printer Filament – 1.75mm

  1. Michael A Lee

Not bad pp it is nearly as good as my go to brand however it is slightly under size causing under extrusion although easily fixed with upping the multiplier to 1.1 great value though i might yet get a full spool as once tuned in worked great.
