Choosing the right end mill is a must for any serious machining work. Having the correct end mill helps to determine the quality, accuracy, and time of a finished part. Investing in a premium cnc end mill at the beginning can save money in the long run, by completing jobs quicker and being tolerant to more abuse.
We have searched high and low for a quality supplier at affordable prices. Our square end mills are manufactured from sub-micron grain solid carbide using the latest material technology. They are 2 flute up-cut square end mills, and range in sizes from 1/4” to 1/64”, so even them high detailed jobs are now possible.

Each size end mill is available in 3 versions, standard length, stub length, and extended reach. The longer a mill sticks out from the router, the less accurate it will be, so stub lengths are useful when you need to complete highly accurate shallow work. Extended reach end mills are for them deep machining jobs, they are longer than the standard length mills, so hence will deflect more. Standard length are for general machining applications and will be suitable for most machining jobs. See the table below for a full size comparison.

See the diagram below to correlate the dimensions. The dimension Reach is only applicable to the extended reach end mills, as for the stub and standard end mills the reach is the same as the cut length. Also if the Cut Diameter and the Shank Diameter are the same then the Reach dimension also isn’t of much concern, even for the extended reach end mills.
