Customisations
We offer a broad selection of customisation options for our aluminium extrusions. Read the guidelines below for help choosing the correct customisations for your project.
1.0 – Required Length
Required length is the total length of the extrusion in millimetres (mm).
If you are having angle cuts, the required length should include these angles, measured from vertex to vertex.
Extrusions will be cut with a tolerance of +/- 0.2mm.
2.0 – Angle Cutting Service
Choose the type of Angle Cutting you require based on the table below.

| No Angles | The extrusion will be cut 90° at each end |

| Single Angle | The extrusion will be cut to Angle A at one end |
|
| Double Angles | The extrusion will be cut to Angle A at one end, and Angle B at the other end |

| Opposing Angles | The extrusion will be cut to Angle A at one end, and Angle B at the other end |

2.1 – Angle Face
Choose the face of the extrusion that you want the angles, either wide face or narrow face.
For Double or Opposing Angles, the angles must be on the same face.
2.2/2.3 – Angle A / Angle B
Specify the desired degree for the angles. The angle is measured at its vertex as per the diagrams under 3.0.
Angle degree must be an integer value from 30° to 89°.
Angles will be cut with a tolerance of +/- 0.25°.
3.0 – M5 Tapping Service
Choose if you want the end holes of the extrusion profile tapped ready to accept a bolt.
Holes are tapped with an M5x0.8mm thread, 10mm deep.
Ends with an angle cut cannot be tapped.
If you choose ‘Single Angle’ cutting service and Tapping service, the straight cut end will be tapped (not the angle cut end).
